BAYONNE - A 22-year-old college student from Bayonne was fatally injured by a hit-and-run driver over the weekend.

Justin Bellini was struck by a vehicle while he was apparently walking home from a bar near 18th Street and Avenue E in Bayonne early Saturday morning. A passer-by saw the body of the Hudson County College student shortly after 4 a.m. and called for help.

Police say that because all of Bellini's injuries were on his upper body, he could have been lying in the street when he was struck.

Investigators say that they have no video of the incident, but are looking through surveillance footage from a 10-block radius to see if they can isolate which vehicle could be responsible.

Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
