BAYONNE - The sound of bag pipe bands filled the air in Bayonne today.

Bands from around the region marched in the annual St. Patrick's Day parade, along with dozens of Irish-American organizations.

Thousands of people dressed in green lined the parade route to enjoy the festivities.

The Bayonne St. Patrick's Day parade is held every year on the first Sunday after March 17.
