FORT LEE - Fort Lee High School was put on lockdown for several minutes today as police dealt with a man who allegedly barricaded himself inside a nearby apartment building.

Fort Lee police were called to a North Central Road building on reports of a person claiming to have a weapon. The school was locked down as a safety precaution.

Police say the man was taken into custody without incident.
