The woman who found the swan has to catch it in order to bring it to animal control.

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP - A woman that lives on Lake Shawnee in Jefferson Township has found a baby swan with a fishing hook, line and bobber attached.

The woman says she called animal control, but they told her she has to catch the swan and bring it to wildlife care professionals to get the hook removed.

She says the family of swans showed up in Lake Shawnee in the spring and hatched two babies during the summer.
