TINTON FALLS - One New Jersey runner has returned from the Boston Marathon to tell a terrifying tale.

Christy DeFilippis pushed herself through leg cramps to finish the race in three hours and 21 minutes. She says if she had walked that last few miles it would have put her at the finish line closer to the four hour mark, when the bombs went off.

DeFilippis is a mother of two and an avid runner. She wonders what might have happened if circumstances were different.

"There's a lot of emotions, a lot of guilt," DeFilippis said. "There's a lot of things that keep going into my head, what if we had ended up bringing our kids which we were supposed to."

DeFilippis says despite the tragedy, she believes she would run the Boston Marathon again.
