Autistic girl inspires Red Bulls to raise awareness

HARRISON - The Red Bulls are getting ready to host a special night to raise awareness for autism, a cause that is very important to the team.

Seven-year-old Julia de Grandpre's dad Marc is the general manager of the Red Bulls. Julia has autism, but according to her dad she has made progress with her speech and intellectual development.

Julia, who is a regular at Red Bulls home games, inspired the team to raise awareness for the cause. Her favorite player is Dax McCarty, who she thinks is nice. 

Autism awareness night will be held Friday during the Red Bulls home game against San Jose.
