Authorities probe death of Union Township woman

UNION TOWNSHIP - The Union County Prosecutor's Office announced today that members of the Homicide Task Force are investigating the death of a Union Township woman.

Police say 54-year-old Diane Mary Zaleski was found dead by her parents at her Laurana Road home earlier today.

Investigators say the victim suffered multiple stab wounds.

The prosecutor's office says that neighbors should not be alarmed and that the attack does not appear to be random. The prosecutor's office also said that robbery does not seem to be a motive and that it doesn't seem to be domestic-related.

Officials say the death occurred between 10 p.m. last night, when the victim's parents spoke to her, and when her parents found her earlier today.
