CLINTON TOWNSHIP - Authorities have identified the man found yesterday in the Round Valley Reservoir in Clinton Township as Kenneth Rohatyn, of East Northport, NY.

State police brought in rescue boats, divers and sonar to search the reservoir, after hikers reported a capsized boat in the water yesterday afternoon.

Officials say Rohatyn was found about 150 feet from the canoe just before 7 p.m. Rescue crews originally were searching for two people thought to be in the boat. Police say the 56-year-old was not wearing a life jacket.

Since 1971, Round Valley Reservoir has taken 26 lives. Six of those have never been found.
