RARITAN - Authorities have identified the two people killed in a home in Raritan last week.

The victims have been identified as 51-year-old Sandra Giuseppe and her 15-year-old daughter Kimberly Streath.

The two women were found dead inside their home on First Avenue Friday afternoon. Police say that Giuseppe was struck on the head with a hammer and strangled with rope. Streath was also struck on the head with a hammer.

Ramon Cadiz has been charged with the murders. He was arrested early Saturday morning after he was found sleeping in his car in North Brunswick.

Cadiz previously served time in prison for a deadly stabbing in 1991.

The relationship between Cadiz and the two victims has not been released by investigators.
