NEWARK - Attorneys tried to poke holes in the testimony of a key witness to the 2007 Newark schoolyard murders as closing arguments were made today in the trial of Jose Carranza.

Carranza's attorney says that the surviving victim cannot remember the crime clearly and the prosecution's other key witness, Shahid Bakersville, can't be believed.

Carranza faces a litany of charges in the murders, which left three young people dead.
