ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS - Atlantic Highlands residents are excited about a new proposal to bring a 185-foot gambling cruise ship to the borough.

The ship would be docked at the marina and would sail to international waters twice a day.

The pier and slip upgrades required to have the ship would be paid for by the ship's operators, according to borough officials.

Some residents have voiced concern about the additional noise and traffic the ship could bring.
