TRENTON - New Jersey's General Assembly has voted to ban teens younger than 18 years old from using electric tanning beds.

The bill, which must also be passed by the state Senate, still allows teens from 14 to 18 years old to get spray-on tans with parental approval.

The topic was brought up for discussion recently after a Nutley mother allegedly brought her 5-year-old daughter to a tanning salon.
