ASBURY PARK - Police in Asbury Park are looking for a man they say shot and killed someone from the back of a bicycle.

Nijed Johnson, 24, was on his porch at 1024 Sewell Ave. on Friday waiting on the school bus to bring home his daughter when police say someone on the back of a bicycle rode up and started shooting.

Police say a bullet landed in Johnson's back and went through his heart, killing him.

The young father was expecting the birth of his second child any day.

Witnesses tell News 12 New Jersey that after firing on Johnson, the shooter kept pedaling east on Sewell Avenue before turning left at the next block and disappearing.
