Arrests made in Trenton, Hamilton pharmacy robberies

TRENTON - The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office announced today that five arrests have been made in the string of pharmacy robberies in Trenton and Hamilton.

The men are charged in a string of robberies dating back to Oct. 2009. In each of the robberies, officials say the masked suspects entered the store and demanded prescription pills. The suspects then escaped in an SUV, according to authorities.

Investigators have not connected the arrests to the murder of pharmacist Arjun Reddy Dyapa back in April. He was shot and killed at the Brunswick Pharmacy after a masked gunman entered the store demanding pills.
