Arrest made in stabbing of Barringer H.S. student

NEWARK - Newark police say they have arrested the person suspected of stabbing and killing a 17-year-old Barringer High School student.

Police have not released the name of the suspect because he is a juvenile.

Stanley Francois, 17, was stabbed during a fight off school premises about 20 minutes after school let out on Oct. 3.

Last night, friends and family held a memorial service for Francois.
