ASBURY PARK - The fourth annual Pugapalooza was held this weekend in Asbury Park.

The event draws owners and lovers of pug dogs, and it raises money for the Curly Tail Rescue Pug charity.

Volunteer Connie Breech helps organize the pug fest, which is punctuated by a Pink Pug Parade to tie into the city's "Paint the Town Pink" theme.

"Pugs are awesome. They're a great companion, they follow you everywhere," she says.

This year's Pugapalooza helped raise more than $4,000 for the Curly Tail Pug Rescue charity.
