Anger over planned new train station in Bergen County

WOOD-RIDGE - People in Wood-Ridge say they aren't happy about NJ Transit's plans to build a train station near their homes.

Phillip Torcivia purchased a home in Wood-Ridge last year, and he says that if a train station is built behind his home, it would ruin his quality of life. His neighbor, Daniel Geis, says that he's concerned about privacy.

Homeowners say NJ Transit told them about the plans to move the train station in a letter sent back in January. The homeowners are organizing a move to stop it, saying property values will drop when the train station rolls in.
