EAST RUTHERFORD - Gov. Chris Christie says the stalled American Dream project could get off the ground, but it won't be completed in time for the Super Bowl.

Christie says the state is ready and willing to move forward with the project, but continues to face obstacles.

Triple 5 wants to turn the complex into a mega mall at the Meadowlands, but owners of both the Giants and Jets mounted opposition to the project.

The groups stalled it again by filing lawsuits, halting construction that was supposed to have started in May.
