Amber Alert canceled for NJ man, son

LUMBERTON - (AP) - Authorities in New Jersey found aregistered sex offender and his 8-year-old son who were the focusof an Amber Alert.

Burlington County authorities say Terry Dusseault and his sonwere at a Medford supermarket. Neither was harmed.

Dusseault's brother became worried about his mental state afterhe disappeared with his son, Terry Jr., from their Lumberton homeon Tuesday. The child's mother is deceased.

Police went to the home to arrest the 38-year-old on childsexual assault and endangerment charges involving three juveniles,but not his son.

Dusseault is on North Carolina's sex offender registry after hewas placed on probation for a third-degree child exploitationcharge in 2007.
