Fire rips through Flanders home

FLANDERS - An altered space heater was the cause of a fatal fire in Flanders earlier this week, according to investigators.

The fire was first reported just before 4:30 a.m. on Monday in a multi-family home at 56 Main St.

The victims have been identified as 52-year-old Hesham Moustafa and his 7-year-old stepson, Christiano Bona.
