EDISON - The alleged leader of the Bloods gang surrendered at the Union County Sheriff's Office after investigators had searched for him for over three years.

Authorities say that Luqman Abdullah flooded Essex and Union counties with more than $700,000 worth of cocaine every week. His rap sheet includes seven felony convictions for drugs, weapons and assault.

Abdullah is charged with racketeering and numerous drug and weapons offenses. Bail has been set at $5 million.
