NEWARK - The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says more than 1.3 million passengers will travel through Newark Liberty International, John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia and Stewart airports for the Thanksgiving weekend.
News 12 New Jersey spoke with travelers at Newark Liberty International Airport, many of whom said they were willing to shell out big bucks to see their loved ones. Passengers say they paid more this year to fly than in years past.
An airline worker told News 12 New Jersey that the crowds were the largest in recent memory.
