NEWARK - Travelers looking to change their flights at Newark Liberty Airport so they can get out before the storm may be able to do so without penalty.
Delta, American Airlines, Southwest and United are waiving one-time flight change fees for travelers trying to get out before the snowstorm. Passengers must have purchased their tickets before Wednesday. The waiver is for those traveling between Jan. 22 and Jan. 24. United, Delta and American Airlines are letting customers book new flights departing before Jan. 27 and Southwest flights must leave before Jan. 24.
Travelers say they are happy to hear that the airlines are waiving the fees.
