DEAL - A South Jersey-based construction company was fined thousands of dollars for illegally dumping debris on a beach in Deal.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection fined Agate Construction Company $14,000 after the company dumped construction materials on the beach in February.

Agate Construction will also be required to remove any remaining materials from the beach, including concrete and asphalt.
