TRENTON - The website finally got a makeover, and applicants say there are some improvements.

Application counselor Rachel Richardson, of the Henry Austin Health Center in Trenton, says the problems were so bad when the site first launched that she had to use paper forms to sign people up. However, she reports things were moving smoothly online as of Monday afternoon.

"It has been working much, much better," Richardson says. "I had clients come in today and we were able to use the website to update their accounts and do other things."

The site has trouble when high traffic occasionally causes delays.

Those looking for insurance coverage in effect for Jan. 1 need to buy a plan by Dec. 23.
