VERNON - Longtime New Jerseyans might remember a theme park that's set to reopen this summer.

Action Park has been in Vernon for 35 years, but has been referred to as the Mountain Creek Water Park for the last 20.

The resort spent $5 million over the last two years renovating the park.

"We have a new ride coming called the Zero-G," says Mountain Creek president Bill Benneyan. "It's the world's tallest and only looping drop-gate slide. It's going to scare the heck out of you."

Admission to Action Park will be $40. It opens June 14.
