NEWARK - The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit with the state of New Jersey, seeking to stop the state from awarding more than $11 million to two religious schools.
One is a Jewish rabbinical school in Lakewood, the other is a seminary in Princeton.
The ACLU says the government should not be using taxpayer money to fund religious training.

The state Legislature has until June 28 to decide whether the schools will receive the money.
