EWING - Police in Ewing are looking for two men who robbed and assaulted a 92-year-old woman inside her home.

The woman was attacked Monday night inside her home on Manor Drive. She is in the hospital with a fractured skull after the vicious attack.

Police say the men broke in while she was sleeping, ransacked her home and demanded money.

She was then tied-up with an appliance cord and dragged to the basement, where she was left until 10 a.m. Tuesday. When a friend couldn't reach her on the phone, they called police.

Officers found the woman conscious, but badly beaten.

Police say the motive was cash, and they believe the suspects may have had a prior connection to the victim.

There was another home invasion in Ewing on March 3. An arrest was made in that case.
