BOONTON - Emergency 911 calls following a fatal shooting that occurred in Boonton this past August have been released.

Nazish Noorani was fatally shot on Aug. 16 while walking with her husband and their young son in the quiet Morris County town. News 12 New Jersey has obtained the 911 calls made right after the shooting by her husband, Kashif Pervaiz.

Originally, Pervaiz's frantic call for help drew police to the scene quickly. However, text messages uncovered by authorities landed him in handcuffs. Pervaiz sent text messages to a woman named Antoinette Stephen, who he was allegedly dating. Officials say messages between the two carefully plotted out details of a plan to murder Noorani.

Pervaiz originally claimed that he and his wife were victims of a hate crime, but police say he later confessed and was placed under arrest. Antoinette Stephen was picked up in Massachusetts and returned to New Jersey, where both are now charged with murder.
