911 calls paint gruesome picture in Anna Hong death

FORT LEE - The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office has released audio recordings of 911 calls made by people who witnessed the gruesome death of Anna Hong.

911 calls from eyewitnesses describe a horrific scene moments after Charles Ann allegedly ran over Anna Hong with his car two weeks ago. One caller told the dispatcher that he caught the gruesome act on camera before Ann fled the scene in his Hyundai Sonata. That video could prove to be a key piece of evidence during Ann's murder trial.

Prosecutors say the couple had a tumultuous relationship that Hong was trying to end, which may have pushed Ann over the edge. At the high-rise apartment building where the couple lived, workers recalled seeing the couple having frequent fights outside the lobby.

Friends of Hong say the 25-year-old Korean immigrant was studying English on a student visa and had dreams of working in animation.
