MOUNT OLIVE - Mount Olive police have released the chilling 911 audio recordings from the night two teens fell through the ice on Budd Lake.

Nick Cianciotto and Clyde Schimanski III, both 15, drowned when they fell through the ice on Jan. 7.

In the audio recordings, frantic neighbors and passers-by are heard telling dispatchers that it sounded like "a kid fell into the lake or something, screaming." Some neighbors called 911 while others went out onto the ice to try and save the boys.

Even with the helpful directions and quick response from neighbors, the mission quickly turned from a rescue mission to a recovery mission.

The bodies of the two teenagers were pulled from the frigid water in the following two days.
