KEANSBURG - A young boy's bedroom window was shattered by gun shots in Keansburg early Wednesday morning.

His mother was in bed at their home on Carter Avenue when she heard popping noises and thought someone was throwing rocks at the house.

When she went to check on her 9-year old son, she realized someone had fired at the house.

Two windows were shattered by bullets found in the home. It is unclear if the shots were intentional or stray shots from another incident.
