8 injured after driver suffers seizure in Fairfield

Police say the incident happened at the Skyline

Police say the incident happened at the Skyline Auto Exchange on Route 46.

FAIRFIELD - Eight people were injured during an accident at Skyline Auto Exchange in Fairfield.

According to police, the accident happened just before noon at the auction on Route 46 East.

Officers say six pedestrians were struck by a car driven by 39-year-old Gregory Ross of Paterson.

Police say Ross hit a driver in another vehicle before his SUV came to a stop.

Authorities are still investigating the accident, but think Ross may have suffered a seizure behind the wheel.

The victims were treated for various injuries, including neck and back pains.
