NEWARK - Police say the 75-year-old victim who was mugged at an Essex County cemetery this past Sunday is now out of the hospital.

An update and clarification on that attack: The man and his wife were visiting a relative's grave at a Jewish Cemetery called Ades Amuno, also known as the Grove Street Cemetery.

It's located across from Holy Sepulchre. The victim was slashed with a knife, and struck with a bat, before he was robbed of his money and car.

Police recovered the victim’s car in Irvington. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Essex County Prosecutor's Major Crimes Task Force.
