LONG BRANCH - The race between Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) and Republican challenger Anna Little is being closely watched as Little seems to be gaining support days before the election.
Little, a tea party candidate and the current mayor of Highlands, made a grand entrance yesterday at a rally in Long Branch along with RNC Chairman Michael Steele. She linked Pallone with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, claiming they are both for big government.
Today, Pallone held a news conference in the same spot. Several environmental organizations endorsed the congressman of 22 years, applauding his fight for ocean testing and stance against offshore drilling. If re-elected, Pallone says job creation would also be his focus.
