EAST BRUNSWICK - A woman in East Brunswick is accused of keeping 63 flea-infested dogs in her home.

Animal control officers removed all of the animals from Ellen Shih's home. Shih is now facing charges of animal cruelty.

Officers say the dogs were well fed but were covered with feces and have skin conditions from multiple flea bites.

Shih denies the allegations of animal neglect.

Some of the dogs are already available for adoption.
