MONTCLAIR - Several people are recovering today after police shut down the Wellmont Theatre in Montclair after a crowd of teens became unruly.

Police say six people were arrested and 10 more are recovering from alcohol poisoning. The crowd was waiting in line for what was billed as the "world's largest blacklight party."

Witnesses tell News 12 New Jersey many of the patrons arrived at the theatre intoxicated. Six women passed out while waiting in line. Officials say 20 people were eventually taken to area hospitals for evaluation.
