Bayonne Mayor Mark Smith says police have arrested the "main actor" in the brutal beating of a 22-year-old man and his two friends early Sunday

BAYONNE - Bayonne Mayor Mark Smith says police have arrested the "main actor" in the brutal beating of a 22-year-old man and his two friends early Sunday morning.

Police have now made a total of five arrests, all teenagers, in connection with the beating, including two girls, ages 15 and 16, who have been charged in the attacks.

The violent attack left Dawid Strucinski in a coma at Jersey City Medical Center.
