ISELIN - A 5-year-old boy was struck and killed by a UPS truck near the Gill Lanes Apartment Complex in Iselin Thursday evening.

Officials say that the boy chased a ball into the street and underneath the truck. The driver of the truck, a 38-year-old man, was making deliveries and did not see the boy. He drove away and struck the child.
