4-alarm fire rips through Rahway condo complex

RAHWAY - A four-alarm fire that tore through a condominium complex under construction early this morning in Rahway is under control.

Officials say fire started at the row of condominium homes on St. George Avenue and Stone Street around 1:30 a.m.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the blaze.

Route 27 was closed for hours between Hazelwood and West Grand avenues while an estimated 100 firefighters from 10 towns fought the blaze.
