Fire crews battled heavy wind conditions as a four-alarm fire raged in Paterson.

The blaze at the multi-use buildings at the corner of 10th Avenue and East 23rd Street was reported just after 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Reports indicate that a roof collapsed and the fire consumed two homes.

Four firefighters suffered minor injuries during the incident.
