HOBOKEN - Police say a twisted game has landed three teenagers behind bars.

The unidentified teens have been charged in connection with the murder of a developmentally disabled man in Hoboken.

Investigators saying the murder was the result of a twisted game the suspect's called "knockout." The game involved the teenagers trying to knock out an unsuspecting pedestrian with one punch.

On Sept. 10, police say the three suspects, one of them 14 years old and the other two 13, came up behind 46-year-old Ralph Santiago while he was walking on Third Street between Adams and Jefferson streets. One of the teens allegedly punched Santiago in the back of the head, causing him to fall onto an iron fence. His neck broke after getting wedged between two fence posts and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jersey City teens are currently being held at the Hudson County Youth Detention Center.
