NEW BRUNSWICK - Three of the 10 current and former Rutgers students who were arrested last week in home invasion and assault cases faced a judge Wednesday.
Jianan Chen, Tejay Johnson and Andre Boggs all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Chen is accused of trying to force his way into a Rutgers dorm room in May. Johnson and Boggs are charged with robbery.

Boggs' attorney says his client's $600,000 bail is unfair because his mother faces medical problems.
"She has taken disease and is on dialysis," says attorney Tim Donahue. "Financially, $600,000 is basically saying 'We're not going to give you any bail whatsoever.'"
Rutgers University has suspended all of the students allegedly involved in the crimes. Five football players charged have also been suspended from the team.
