3 PVSC officials arrested on official misconduct charges

EDISON - State Attorney General Paula Dow and Criminal Justice Director Stephen Taylor announced that three officials at the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission were arrested today on official misconduct charges.

Anthony Ardis, 56, of Paterson, Kevin Keogh, 45, of Roseland, and Chester Mazza, 69, of Totowa, were arrested this morning at the offices of the PVSC, according to a news release.

"These defendants allegedly used their supervisory positions at the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission to require subordinates to complete home improvements for them" while on company time, according to the release by the Attorney General.

The men are being held at the Passaic County Jail, with bail for each set at $75,000.
