3 juveniles charged after bad wreck in Newark

A police pursuit that began in Hillside ended in Newark Friday evening.

Three teens were charged after they were crashed an alleged stolen car while being chased by police.

NEWARK - A police pursuit that began in Hillside ended in Newark Friday evening.

Law enforcement officials say the car was stolen out of Union County prior to the wreck on Bergen Street.

Three juveniles were in the car, which was stolen in Hillside, according to police. The group apparently slammed into another car before coming to a stop while police chased them.

The teens have been charged. 

Officials did not immediately release information on if anyone was hurt.
