FREEHOLD - Three high schools from the Freehold School District have been named to the list of America's Best High Schools by Newsweek magazine.

Freehold High School, Marlboro High School and Freehold Township High School placed among the 1,000 schools on the list. It's the second year in a row Freehold Township High School made the list.

More than 70 New Jersey high schools were recognized by Newsweek, who ranked schools based on graduation rates, college acceptance and test scores.
