OCEAN COUNTY - An Ocean County charity group is looking for a hero after a fast-moving fire destroyed its offices.

A three-alarm fire destroyed Hometown Heroes, an organization whose mission is to "help our neighbors." Founder and President Mike Schwartz says in just over five years, his group has worked with over 10,000 people, and has raised and given away millions.

In the last year-and-a-half Hometown Heroes dealt with 2,400 families hit by Sandy. Thank you notes from all those people lined the offices that were destroyed.
