ELIZABETH - Crews battled a three-alarm fire in Elizabeth this morning.
The fire started around 8:30 a.m. and was contained to Magnolia Fish Market on 1065 Magnolia Ave. near Catherine Street.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire, and there have been no reports of injuries.
Elizabeth Fire Chief Tom McNamara says the fire appeared to have started on the first floor of the building, and quickly spread to all floors.
There are two stories of apartments above the market, but all residents got out safely.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
