2nd man arrested in shooting death of Paterson teen

Police have made another arrest in the shooting death of a teenage basketball star in Paterson. According to police, 20-year-old Hasmeek Coles is facing murder

EDISON - Police have made another arrest in the shooting death of a teenage basketball star in Paterson.

According to police, 20-year-old Hasmeek Coles is facing murder charges in the drive-by shooting that left Armoni Sexton, 15, dead. Three others were injured in the shooting.

Coles is being held on $2 million bail.

Another Paterson man, Gregory Oliver, 20, has been charged in the shooting. He pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, attempted murder and weapons possession during his court appearance last week.

Sexton was a freshman at Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology. He was a top scorer and rebounder on the school's basketball team.
