PAULSBORO - Wednesday was the second day of the National Transportation Safety Board's hearing for last year's Paulsboro train derailment.

A Consolidated Rail Corporation (CONRAIL) engineer says the company received many reports of problems with the railroad bridge a month before its collapse.

Federal investigators say safety standards were not properly followed when handling the hazardous chemical spill. They say nearby residents were told at one point to stay indoors rather than evacuate.
